Before Your Tan

  • Do not shower directly before your tan. Try to shower 1-2 hours before your tan to allow your skin to adequately dry. Showering directly before your tan can cause your tan to fade prematurely.
  • Exfoliate and moisturize your body in the days leading up to your spray tan. Exfoliating and moisturizing is a key step to achieving the best results! Pay close attention to areas that tend to by dryer – such as elbows, knees, ankles, heels, hands and feet.
  • Hydrate! Drink plenty of water, the better hydrated you are on the inside the better you tan will look on the outside.
  • Do not apply tanning lotions, moisturizers, deodorants or makeup to your skin right before your tan.
  • Shaving, facials, waxing or other hair removal procedures should be done at least one day prior to your tanning session.
  • Manicures, pedicures and massages should be done before your tan.

After Your Tan

  • Avoid putting a bra, leggings, jeans or anything tight on directly after your tan.
  • Wait 12-24 hours after your tan to shower.
  • No sweating, swimming, getting wet or exercising until your first shower after your spray tan. Doing so may cause streaks!
  • Wear long sleeves and long pants while you sleep. Avoid sleeping on your hands!
